World Archery Philippines has assembled its youth archery pool for the 2026 Asian Youth Archery Championships in Khor Fakkan, United Arab Emirates, following tryouts held during the opening day of the World Archery Philippines Championships Leg 4 in Bacolod City.
World Archery Philippines president Bing Reaport announced the selected athletes who will carry the Philippine colors in the continental competition scheduled for December.
The national youth team will be led by head coach Ryu Su Jeng, with Hong Sung Chil, Abby Tindugan, and Romnick Balmeo serving as assistant coaches.
The selected archers will look to build on the country’s impressive showing at the Singapore Youth Archery Championship in June, where the Philippines collected 30 medals, including 13 golds, seven silvers, and 10 bronzes.
That performance underscored the country’s growing depth in youth archery, setting the stage for another opportunity to test its rising talents against some of Asia’s best young competitors.
