CITY OF SANTIAGO — PLDT is beginning to find its rhythm at the right time, sweeping ZUS Coffee, 25-20, 25-18, 25-16, to notch back-to-back victories in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference on Thursday at the Santiago Sports Arena here.
After opening the tournament with consecutive losses, the High Speed Hitters have steadied themselves, following up their breakthrough win over Capital1 last Saturday with another dominant performance to even their record at 2-2.
With their confidence growing, PLDT now faces a tougher challenge as it prepares to take on defending champion Creamline on November 5 at 6 p.m. at the Philsports Arena.
Meanwhile, ZUS Coffee remains in search of answers after absorbing its fourth consecutive defeat, dropping to 0-4 and joining Galeries Tower at the bottom of the standings.
The break gives the Thunderbelles an opportunity to regroup and address their struggles before returning to action against Farm Fresh on November 5 at 1 p.m.
