TNT lands Ababou, Anthony returns to NLEX

Talk ‘N Text continues to add more weapons to its already star-studded roster as the 2015-16 PBA season unfolds in less than two weeks time.

The Tropang Texters landed wing man Dylan Ababou from the Barako Bull Energy in exchange for a 2016 second rounder.

After an above par rookie season with the Energy where he played 42 games and averaged 8.1 PPG and 3.1 RPG, Ababou’s last three years with Barangay Ginebra has been underwhelming, particularly with the minutes he has received.

Ababou only played a total of 51 games in his last three seasons and averaged below four points in about 10 minutes a game.

With his entry to Talk ‘N Text, Ababou has a chance to be Larry Fonacier’s main back up or play the three alongside the Tropang Texters other guards. Ababou is poised to give outside shooting and perimeter defense to his new team.

Anthony returns to NLEX

Forward Sean Anthony meanwhile was dealt by the Meralco Bolts to the NLEX Road Warriors via a three-team swap.

Anthony played for the Road Warriors back when the team was called the Air21 Express and was a key part of the team’s semi-final finish in the 2014 season.

The Mahindra Enforcers received Juneric Baloria and NLEX’s 2016 and 2017 second rounders.

Meralco settles for Mahindra’s 2016 and 2017 second rounders which they can use to add more talent in the years to come.
