Global esports powerhouse Team Secret has announced its acquisition of Bren Esports’ Valorant roster, Thursday.
The roster consists of former CS:GO veterans Kevin “Dispenser” Te, Jim “BORKUM” Timbreza, Jayveee “DubsteP” Paguiran, Riley “Witz” Go, and former Dota 2 pro Jessie “JessieVash” Cuyco.
Still coaching the squad is Gilbert “Gibo” Sales.
Bren Esports announced yesterday, Wednesday, the release of its Valorant roster that topped the VCT 2021: Southeast Asia Stage 3 Challengers and earned a ticket to the Masters Berlin.
However, Riot failed to secure the necessary traveling documents for the squad which canceled its trip to Germany.
With the players jumping ship, Team Secret is now the top Southeast Asian squad with 2013 in the Valorant competitive rankings.
The team is set to be awarded 175 points for qualifying to the Masters Berlin and is also set to receive the associated prize.
