SOURCES: Zico set to sign with Team Secret

It appears that Filipino coach John Michael “Zico” Dizon is once again heading to another country, this time to Malaysia.

Multiple sources close to the situation have informed Tiebreaker Times that Zico has already secured his release from Pro Esports and will be flying to Malaysia next week to join Team Secret.

Zico will be entrusted with the task of leading TS, a global esports organization that finished the MPL Malaysia Season 11 without a win.

This marks Zico’s third team since his departure from Nexplay Evos in the MPL Philippines, where they finished 5th-6th in Season 9.

He initially signed with Burn x Flash and guided the team to their first title during the MPL Cambodia Autumn 2022, which earned them a ticket to the M4 World Championship in Jakarta, Indonesia earlier this year.

He later moved to Pro Esports last season and achieved a 4th place finish despite coaching a newly-built roster.

At Team Secret, Zico will have the opportunity to secure the first season win for the prominent esports organization, with two Indonesian imports by his side.
