Terrence Romeo has won the 2015 FIBA 3×3 season Most Spectacular Player award after a social media contest organized by FIBA 3×3 on all its channels.
Romeo of Globalport Batang Pier and Gilas Pilipinas once again starred in 3×3 competitions this year, leading Manila West to the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Manila Masters final back in August.
Romeo’s mixtape reached 266,340 views combined on FIBA 3×3’s video platforms. The star guard defeated six other candidates for the distinction: Dusan Domovic Bulut (Novi Sad Al Wahda), David Seagers (NY Harlem), Calvin Abueva (Manila North), Michael Hicks (Gdansk), Dragan Bjelica (Belgrade) and Chris Reaves (Wukesong).
Romeo will receive his trophy at the FIBA 3×3 Awards which shall be staged in Doha, Qatar on December 10. Nine more awards shall be handed out. Doha will also host the 2015 FIBA 3×3 All Stars.
