Rafflesia bares he contracted COVID-19

ECHO star tank Christian “Rafflesia” Fajura revealed that he has tested positive to COVID-19, Sunday.

“Last week pa po kaya di ako naglaro last week.”

Rafflesia led ECHO to an early lead in the standings after the opening week of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines Season Eight.

The two-time MPL Philippines champion, however, was curiously left out of the main five in the second week. Instead, Jay “Jaymeister” Torculas filled in the roaming spot.

ECHO dropped two consecutive games in the second week.

Rafflesia is still inside the bootcamp but in isolation. He was forced to play against the streaking Nexplay EVOS on Saturday.

Unfortunately, his presence was not enough. The team dropped its third-straight loss, sliding down to the fourth spot with eight points through a 2-4 standing.

ECHO will look to turn its fortunes around against TNC on Friday at 6:00 PM.
