Falcons AP.Bren reigns supreme over Team Liquid PH in MPL PH rivalry rematch

By: Jan Marcus Montevirgen

In a highly anticipated clash of champions, Falcons AP.Bren dominated once again, sweeping Team Liquid Philippines 2-0 in the MPL Philippines Season 14 on Saturday at the Green Sun Hotel in Makati.

The rivalry between these two world-class teams has been building since last season’s grand finals, where Team Liquid Philippines emerged victorious.

The competition intensified during the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series in Malaysia and the Supernova Tournament in Kazakhstan, where Falcons AP.Bren claimed both titles, setting the stage for their ongoing battle for supremacy.

The turning point in the 35-minute Game 2 came during a tense moment in the lord pit. At the 34th minute, Jaypee was caught out of position and taken down, followed by Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno a few seconds later.

This opened the door for Falcons AP.Bren to secure a straight mid-lane push, sealing their victory.

Looking ahead, Falcons AP.Bren will face TNC Pro Team on September 6 at 5:00 PM. On the other hand, Team Liquid PH will go up against Blacklist International on Sunday at 7:00 PM.

Both matches will take place at the same venue
