Petro Gazz taps Oliver Almadro as head coach

It did not take long for Oliver Almadro to find his way back into the Premier Volleyball League.

Just two months after parting ways with Choco Mucho, Almadro has signed with reigning Reinforced Conference champion Petro Gazz for the upcoming 2023 season, the club announced on Tuesday.

Almadro stepped down as the Flying Titans’ head coach last November to “focus his efforts on developing the Ateneo Women’s Volleyball Program.”

Meanwhile, the Angels lost head coach Rald Ricafort, who steered the team to the top of the season-ending conference last month, to PLDT.
