From being an NBTC Most Outstanding Player, Terrence Hill Jr. has risen to become one of the Atlantic-10’s elite.
The 6-foot-3 Filipino-American guard from Virginia Commonwealth University was named to the Atlantic-10 First Team while also earning honors as both the Sixth Man of the Year and Most Improved Player on Wednesday evening (Manila time).
Hill averaged 14.1 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.8 assists for the Rams this season, a significant jump from his freshman year averages of 3.4 points, 0.6 rebounds, and 0.3 assists.
VCU finished the conference with a 15-3 record and enters the quarterfinals as the No. 2 seed.
During the 2024 NBTC National Finals, Hill averaged 17.7 points per game for Fil-Am Nation, leading the team to the championship.
Meanwhile, Aiden Argabright, last year’s 19-and-under Manila Live Finals MVP with FYBA DC, earned a spot on the Atlantic-10 All-Rookie Team.
Argabright, who plays for the University of Richmond, averaged 10.8 points in his freshman season.
