Kairi “Kairi” Rayosdelsol’s ONIC Esports barged into the knockout stage after sweeping Peter “Basic” Lozano’s Outplay, 2-0, in the 2023 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup, Monday at the Aeon Mall Mean Chey in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
The reigning MPL ID champion ended its Group C campaign with a 2-0 slate to claim the top seed.
ONIC Esports snowballed to victory in Game 1 with Kairi’s Lancelot leading the way. He tallied five kills and six assists against one death as the Indonesian squad took a 13-6 victory in 15 minutes and 14 seconds of action.
The Indonesians overcame a rough start in Game 2 to complete the sweep.
The MSC playoffs will begin on June 15, Thursday.
