Two-time MPL champion Ashley “Killuash” Cruz will be skipping the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines Season Eight, Sunday evening.
Killuash bared his decision to Jeremiah Sevilla of Manila Bulletin.
“Last, last season ko pa po ayaw maglaro.
“Medyo nawawalan na po ako ng gana at nawawala na ‘yung gutom ko manalo palagi tuwing gigising ako,” said Killuash.
The 22-year-old offlaner, however, isn’t closing his doors on a possible return.
“Kaya po napag-desisyunan kong huminto muna ngayon at baka next season po bumalik ‘yung gutom ko sa paglalaro at manalo,” he added.
Killuash is one of eight players who have two MPL PH titles.
He won his first championship back in Season Three with ArkAngel and clinched his second with Sunsparks in Season Five.
Aura PH then acquired the Sunsparks roster in Season Six, where they failed to extend their streak to three after a first round exit.
The team managed to reach the upper bracket finals in Season Seven, but dropped two consecutive series to settle for a third place finish with its new roster.
The former Aura PH core, who is set to represent a different organization in Season Eight, will announce its new squad this week.
