The chase for Kai Sotto continues.
Days after receiving an unofficial invite from John Calipari to University of Kentucky, the 7-foot-2 Filipino big man went to Georgia Tech, Thursday morning (Manila time).
Unlike Kentucky, Yellow Jackets head coach Josh Pastner went all-out with his pitch, even printing a souvenir that had the 17-year-old above the city’s skyline with a Georgia Tech jersey on.
To close out his trip to the campus, Sotto and Pastner posed for a picture, with the former wearing a Georgia Tech no. 24 jersey.
Later in the day, DePaul head coach Dave Leitao visited Sotto’s home in Atlanta, Georgia, as he is arranging an official visit for the second-generation cager to their Chicago campus.
Sotto is currently rated as a four-star recruit by ESPN and is 76th overall in the class of 2020.
