June Mar Fajardo starts drive for every pt scored, milestone this season

Championships aren’t just the goal of June Mar Fajardo this PBA season.

The six-time Most Valuable Player on Wednesday has pledged monetary donations to charity in cooperation with the league.

Fajardo said that he will donate P200 for every point that he will score this season, and P1,000 for each three-pointer he’ll convert.

He has also promised P100,000 should San Miguel reach the Finals.

The Cebuano star unveiled as much in the presence of Commissioner Willie Marcial inside the Willie Caballes Hall at the SMART Araneta Coliseum.

Meanwhile, the PBA will help Fajardo determine the beneficiary of his drive.

This isn’t the first time that the 32-year-old has given to charity.

Fajardo has a lifetime scholarship program with alma mater University of Cebu, where he’s been helping students for years now.
