J&T Express is the latest to join the PBA 3×3.
The courier service company will be one of the teams set to compete in the league’s second season beginning on September 10-11.
Tournament director Joey Guanio revealed as much during the Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Forum webcast, Tuesday.
J&T Express is among the three guest clubs seeing action in the upcoming wars, together with mainstays Pioneer and Platinum Karaoke.
A total of 12 teams will duke it out, bannered by member teams TNT, Purefoods, Ginebra, Meralco, San Miguel, CAVITEX, NorthPort, and Terrafirma.
Set to make its debut is Blackwater.
Limitless and Sista, on the other hand, have taken a leave of absence from the PBA’s halfcourt competitions, according to the league.
On leave as well is guest team Zamboanga.
Similar to the Third Conference, the PBA 3×3 will once again play in different Robinsons Malls every leg to make the game closer to the fans.
The league concluded its inaugural season last July, with the Tropang Giga emerging as the Third Conference’s grand champs after outlasting the Titans.
