Ex-Nexplay roamer Cadenza, upstart jungler Flick join Cambodia’s Team Max

Former Nexplay EVOS roamer Kenneth “Cadenza” Castro finally found a new home, signing with MPL Cambodia team Team Max for the 2023 Spring Season, the team announced on Sunday.

Cadenza, a former amateur standout, played for Nexplay EVOS in the MPL Philippines Season Nine but was eventually let go of the squad following their 5th-6th place finish.

Joining Cadenza in Team Max is up-and-coming jungler Ralph “Flick” Hamoy, who played for ONIC PH back in the SIBOL ML:BB tryouts last year.

Team Max finished third in the Spring Season before falling to 5th-6th in the year-ending Autumn Season.

Cadenza and Flick are the latest Filipinos to move to Cambodia after Jaylord “Hate” Gonzales was acquired by Impunity KH yesterday. They join John “Zico” Dizon, Jhonwin “Hesa” Vergara, and Michael “MP the King” Endino of Burn X Flash.
