Team Max signs Omega’s ex-coach P4kbet, former EXP laner Renzio

Cambodia’s Team Max welcomed two new Filipino imports on Wednesday night.

The squad announced the acquisition of former Omega Esports EXP laner Renz “Renzio” Cadua and coach Jomie “P4kbet” Abalos, just a month after parting ways with Filipino roamer Kenneth “CADENZA” Castro.

Renzio and Pakbet spent the past four seasons with Omega Esports, helping the team reach the finals in Season 9 and the grand finals of the 2022 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup.

The Smart-backed squad finished sixth last season.

Renzio and Pakbet will join a Team Max squad, which includes Filipino jungler Ralph “Flick” Hamoy, who also finished sixth in the MPL Cambodia Spring.

The two are set to join the team’s upcoming campaign in the Phytigal Games 2023 in Kazan, Russia. (Jan Marcus Montevirgen)
