When the Blackwater Elite’s Commissioner’s Cup campaign went spiraling down, they immediately looked ahead to the next conference.
Blackwater quickly replaced Jarrid Famous when the team was off to a 0-6 start, and quickly called over their Governors’ Cup import Henry Walker to start the prep for the third conference.
To add more reps to the team, the Elite then used the break to join multiple pocket tournaments – including Asia League’s Summer Super 8.
Blackwater finished with a 2-1 record but did not make it to the next round due to the quotient system.
But if you noticed during the tournament, the team wore new jerseys made by Team Rebel Pilipinas.
With their new-look, the Elite are hoping to return back to their winning ways starting on Friday, August 24 when they face the TNT Katropa.
