Finally, one of the PBA’s wishes has come true.
Starting on Wednesday, attendance for Governors’ Cup matches at the SMART Araneta Coliseum will be back to 100-percent capacity.
This, after the Inter-Agency Task Force announced that Metro Manila and its nearby provinces will be under Alert Level 1 from March 1-15.
The lowest quarantine classification lifts restrictions for indoor and outdoor capacities, indeed good news for a league that’s hoping to play in a full house.
The PBA previously held games with a 50-percent capacity at the Big Dome and at the Ynares Center in Antipolo under the stricter Alert Level 2.
Still, the same health protocols shall be followed.
Wednesday’s twin bill will see the streaking NorthPort take on Blackwater at 3:00 p.m. in a match where the Bossing hopes to end its 27-game skid.
At 6:00 p.m., meanwhile, will pit Magnolia against Meralco in a duel of the league’s frontrunners.
