Adamson University’s Cris Padilla was hailed as the first-ever UAAP High School Girls’ Basketball MVP.
The individual awarding ceremony for the demonstration sport in UAAP Season 82 was held prior to Game Two of the Finals between Adamson and University of Santo Tomas, Monday at Filoil Flying V Centre.
Padilla, who is 19 years old and hails from Pagadian City, posted norms of 24.17 points, 5.67 assists, 4.17 rebounds, and 3.83 steals per game for 86.0 statistical points (SP).
To cap the elimination round last February 29, Padilla dropped 57 points against Ateneo High School to complete Adamson’s elimination round sweep.
Padilla joins fellow Lady Baby Falcons Joan Camagong and Kat Agojo in the Mythical Team.
Camagong had averages of 14.83 points, 12.83 rebounds, 3.5 steals, and 3.17 assists per game for 79.5 SPs. Meanwhile, Agojo normed 10.33 points, 11.67 rebounds, and 2.83 steals per contest for 62.0 SPs.
Completing the All-UAAP High School Girls’ Team are UST’s Erika Danganan (74.33 SPs) and Bridgette Santos (66.17).
Danganan averaged 18.17 points, 8.83 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 3.17 assists for the Junior Growling Tigresses. On the other hand, Santos had norms of 10.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 5.7 steals per game.
