It’s not just the lightweights and flyweights of ONE Championship that will be competing in the Grand Prix.
ONE announced Saturday that eight of the world’s best featherweight kickboxers will compete in the first-ever Super Series Grand Prix.
The grand prix is an Asian martial arts tradition started by Pride FC.
Headlining the tournament are eight-time Muay Thai World Champion Yodsanklai IWE Fairtex (201-71-4) and four-time Kickboxing World Champion Giorgio Petrosyan (98-2-2 1NC).
Completing the eight-man cast are Andy Souwer of Netherland, Samy Sana of France, Dzhabar Askerov of Russia, Jo Nattawut of Thailand, Petchmorrakot Petchyindee Academy of Thailand, and Charlie Peters of the UK.
Just like the mixed martial arts grand prix, each round of the tournament will be spread into multiple events.
