Ron Dennison shows entire repertoire in last year of duty

In the Far Eastern University’s last outing, Ron Dennison’s career high of 21 points went down the drain after the Tamaraws’ rally came too late to snag the win from the De La Salle University Green Archers.

But three days after, he made sure his efforts would be counted as they dominated the University of the East Red Warriors, 90-83, Wednesday afternoon.

He may have been known for his defense for most of his college career, but Dennison showed this season that he has evolved into an offensive threat.

“Well, malaking improvement ‘yun. And I think for his development as a player, malaking bagay ‘yun. Pero si Ron, kilala naman natin siya more on the defensive end and I think for his growth and development as a player, okay din na he’s developing his offense,” added first-year FEU head coach Olsen Racela.

I think yun ang makakapagdala sa kanya to the next level.”

But despite topping all scorers in his team for FEU’s past two games with an average of 18.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists, he assured that he will never fall in love with scoring more than defending.
