The De La Salle University lady jin end their day on a high note, edging out the undermanned National University.
Alyssa Bonifacio, Leigh Nuguid, and Farrah Regis bagged victories in the lighter weight classes for La Salle, before NU’s Shiryl Badol gave NU its first point after prevailing against April Solimen in the featherweight match. Philippine team member Camille Bonje would seal the victory for La Salle defeating Rhezie Aragon in the lightweight match. Gabrielle Yuchingtat continued the DLSU onslaught with a 6-5 win over Grace Garfin.
