John Riel Casimero (22-3, 14KO) knocked out Amnat Ruenroeng of Thailand (17-1, 5KO) in the fourth round to become the new IBF World Flyweight champion in their rematch at the Diamond Court in Beijing, China Wednesday night.
The 26-year old Casimero, who lost to Ruenroeng in their first encounter 11 months ago via unanimous decision, was able to land a left body shot that stunned the Thai at the 2:10 mark to end the fight.

Not only did Quatro Alas avenge his previous loss to the Thai, he will also take home the IBF World Flyweight belt thanks to a last minute decision by the governing body.
Both men missed the scales in their first and second attempts during the weigh-ins last Tuesday. However, the IBF has decided to continue on with the title fight, provided that the two boxers will make weight minutes prior to it.
The victory is made sweeter for the Cebu-native Casimero as he gets his 22nd career victory while handing the Olympian his first ever loss in his pro career.
