Former Lady Eagles reunite to form V-League powerhouse

Just days before the Shakey’s V-League 13th Season opening, a reunion of former Ateneo Lady Eagles stars was announced to beef up the league’s roster of teams.

Charo Soriano will reportedly act as the team’s playing coach, and she will be backed by Gretchen Ho, Dzi Gervacio, and Jem Ferrer. Three-time UAAP MVP Alyssa Valdez will be the team’s main threat, ending weeks of rampant speculation about where she will play next after capping her decorated collegiate career. Valdez’s teammate in Ateneo’s two-championship seasons, libero Denden Lazaro, will also suit up for the squad.
