William Navarro is among three Filipinos released by their respective Korean Basketball League teams on Friday.
Along with Navarro, Joel Cagulangan and Jake Figueroa were not renewed by their respective clubs.
Navarro, who previously played for Magnolia in the PBA, saw limited minutes for KBL champion Busan KCC Egis.
He averaged 5.2 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 21 games last season.
The 6-foot-6 forward last saw action on April 8 in a 109–101 loss to Wonju DB Promy, where he finished with six points in 11 minutes.
Meanwhile, Cagulangan and Figueroa have already signed with MPBL side Abra Solid North.
In a roster shuffle, Miguel Oczon returns to the KBL to replace Figueroa at Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus after being released late last year due to a shoulder injury. The 6-foot guard was averaging 7.7 points before the setback.
Several other Filipino players also continue their stints in the KBL, including SJ Belangel with the Daegu KOGAS Pegasus, Kevin Quiambao with the Goyang Sono Skygunners, Carl Tamayo with the Changwon LG Sakers, Arvin Tolentino with the Seoul SK Knights, Rhenz Abando with the Anyang Jung Kwan Jang Red Boosters, Justin Gutang with the Seoul Samsung Thunders, and Ethan Alvano with the Wonju DB Promy.
