Christmas is not over yet, well, at least for Terrence Romeo fanatics
Well-known Chinese brand Peak Sports has released the flamboyant scoring guard’s signature shoe, the Romeo 1, to the public, Wednesday.
This makes the reigning three-time PBA scoring champion the first-ever Filipino to have a signature sneaker. The release of the much talked-about shoe is a part of the deal between Romeo and Peak, which started in 2016.
With the release of the Romeo 1, the former FEU Tamaraws star has now joined the likes of NBA stars Tony Parker, Dwight Howard, George Hill, and Matthew Dellavedov,a who all have signature lines with Peak.
The shoe bears a red and black colorway that seems to be Romeo’s favorite color scheme, evident in the sneakers he has worn in the past. It has a durable woven-knit upper to make the shoe even lighter yet durable.
The signature shoe, moreover, has a light yet responsive EVA midsole for impact protection. It also boasts a stability plate at the midfoot and a rubber outsole that has a traction pattern made for multi-directional movements.
The Peak Romeo 1 is now available in selected SM Department Stores, Olympic Village Stores, Toby’s Sports, Gaisano Market-Market, Sta. Lucia Department Store, and Peak official stores and is priced at P4,895.
