Zico, Hesa resign from Burn X Flash after M4


Just days after getting eliminated from the M4 World Championship, head coach John “Zico” Dizon and gold laner Jhonwin “Hesa” Vergara both announced that they are parting ways with Burn X Flash, Friday night.

Zico was signed by the Cambodian squad for the 2022 Autumn Season. He immediately brought in Hesa, who played under him in Nexplay EVOS, to bolster the up-and-coming squad.

Together, the two MPL PH products steered Burn X Flash to its first-ever title after beating Logic Esports, 3-1, in the grand finals.

With the win, Burn X Flash qualified to the M4 World Championship where they finished in 13th-16th place after getting booted out by The Valley in the first round of the lower bracket playoffs.
