Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales added another trophy to his collection after winning the MOBIES Mobile Player of the Year award, surpassing several other contenders from around the world.
The ECHO goldlaner played a vital role in his team’s conquest of the M4 World Championship, ultimately earning him the Grand Finals MVP title in the global tournament. He continued his success by leading Echo to their first franchise title in the MPL Philippines Season 11.
“I am truly honored to be recognized as the best Mobile Player of the Year. My journey was not easy, but with all the support I received, it was all worthwhile. I have come a long way, but I still have many goals to achieve. I hope you can continue supporting me,” he said.
“I dedicate this recognition to my family, friends, teammates, and all of my fans. Thank you so much.”
Bennyqt was not the only one to receive an award, as the MLBB M4 World Championship was also declared the Mobile Esports Tournament of the Year.
Kelly Chiew, head of public relations, accepted the award on behalf of Moonton during the awarding ceremony held in Los Angeles, California, USA.
“There were many sweet memories and some painful moments as well. At the same time, we created many good memories while organizing this world championship series in Jakarta. It was a remarkable experience for everyone, and I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to my staff and my amazing team, especially the marketing, production, and logistics teams who worked tirelessly to make this moment possible. They also helped us achieve another world-breaking PCU in terms of viewership,” shared Chiew.
“It’s truly amazing, and I want to thank our fans, players, and gamers because, at the end of the day, you are what truly matters. Thank you so much for your support.”
