Zico glad to have Hesa in maiden foray in Burn X Flash

John “Zico” Dizon and Jhonwin “Hesa” Vergara are set to enter their third consecutive season together after Burn X Flash announced the signing of the latter on Wednesday night.

Zico said that Hesa’s addition will definitely be a huge boost for the team heading into Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-KH Autumn Split.

Also lined up for Burn X Flash this season is jungler Michael “MP the King” Endino, who also played under Zico in the MPL Philippines Season Nine. Unfortunately, the 17-year-old MP the King has yet to travel to Cambodia as he is still working on the necessary documents needed for the transfer.

Magandang addition si Hesa sa team lalo two seasons ko siya nakasama, kilala na namin yung isa’t isa and marami rin natututunan sa kanya mga teammates niya,” Zico said.

Zico revealed that he already recruited both players before he left for Cambodia last June 15.

“Actually nung paalis pa lang ako sa NXPE may idea na silang dalawa na magiibang bansa ako. Plinano ko na rin na isama sila noon pa lang and go naman sila pero I had to talk first with the management kung willing sila,” said Zico.

“Fortunately, go naman medyo naging late lang yung decision kaya napatagal yung pag aasikaso.”

And even though they’re on a different team, in a different region, the goal remains the same for Zico and Hesa and that is to win an MPL championship.

“Also, may nakakausap na rin ako. Medyo homesick na rin kasi and ‘di masyado malalim mag-english yung ibang players kaya may miscomms din kami minsan.
