Just like SiPons, Gervacio to focus on Creamline Beach Volleyball

Dzi Gervacio will not be part of Perlas during the 2021 PVL Open Conference.

Instead, the 29-year-old spiker will be full-time with Creamline Beach Volleyball.

Creamline Beach Volleyball is the program that serves as a funnel for the national team in international competitions.

“We are so excited about having you on our team,” read Creamline’s post.

“With your experience, you will be a great addition to Creamline beach volleyball.”

Also part of the program are Sisi Rondina and Bernardeth Pons.

Gervacio will be a great loss for Perlas, though. She is coming off a stellar 2019 campaign that saw her win the Best Opposite Spiker award during the Reinforced Conference.

Perlas recently got Jho Maraguinot to address the loss. Also rotating in the position left by Gervacio are Nicole Tiamzon and Heather Guino-o.

The country’s beach volleyball team is looking to build on its bronze finish in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games come the Vietnam Games later this year.
