VCT APAC: Team Secret continues to roll, advances to upper bracket finals

Team Secret advanced to the upper bracket finals of the 2022 Valorant Champions Tour Asia-Pacific Stage 2: Challengers Playoffs after sweeping ONIC G, 2-0, Friday afternoon.

Jeremy “Jremy” Cabrera was once again the key at Breeze in Game Two as they took the win, 13-8.

The youngster who played Chamber finished with 26 kills to go along with five assists and an absurd 346 Average Combat Score.

It was all Secret in the first half as they led 8-4 highlighted by Jremy’s quadra kill in Round 6.

The second half was a back-and-forth affair with both teams exchanging round wins, but it was the Filipinos who came out on top, as they were the ones holding the advantage early, finishing the series in two games.

Game One was a map stolen from ONIC as TS took Icebox in their series opener via the same scoreline, 13-8.

This time, it was Jessie “JessieVash” Cuyco who wreaked havoc using Sova. The Russian initiator had 23 kills and eight dimes.

Secret will face a familiar foe in Paper Rex tomorrow at the upper final. A win in tomorrow’s match-up will give them a slot in the grand finals.
