The reunion of two Squires will not push through.
Shawn Umali has decided to transfer to College of Saint Benilde, while Mark Omega will head home to Colegio de San Juan de Letran.
Both made their commitments to their new schools on Monday.
Umali, a burly 6-foot-3 forward, averaged 11.0 points, 6.12 rebounds, 2.65 assists, and 1.59 blocks per game for Lyceum in NCAA Season 99.
Meanwhile, Omega, a 6-foot-5 bruiser, averaged 6.56 points, 8.17 rebounds, and 1.39 assists per contest for Perpetual Help.
Omega will also suit up for Zamboanga-Family’s Brand Sardines in the MPBL.
Both players will sit out NCAA Season 100 before becoming eligible to play for their respective schools in Season 101.
The exodus from Perpetual Help continues as Tiebreaker Times learned that Carlo Ferreras, Rey Barcuma, and Team B guard Bryle Mascariñas have also left the school.
Barcuma is set to play for an MPBL team this season.
