Omega Esports star Duane “Kelra” Pillas found himself in another controversy.
Another evidence from the same stream surfaced on Monday showing Kelra’s sexist remarks towards Thai pro player Chareeny “Ramellabah” Ramella of IDONOTSLEEP Esports.
Before this, Kelra already found himself under fire following the lewd and distasteful comments he made towards Blacklist International members Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna and Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario.
The clips came from a livestream hosted by RRQ Hoshi’s Albert “Alberttt” Iskandar.
IDNS and Ramella already called out Kelra for his disgusting actions. The Thai organization revealed that Moonton is already aware of the situation and is currently investigating the matter.
“We have heard about the news and currently looking into the matter. Moonton is aware of the issue and currently investigating,” IDNS said.
“We have not received any contact nor formal apologies nor witness any action regarding this issue.”
Kelra already issued a public apology for the Blacklist International players last night.
“As an esports team that encouraging female players to participate and recognizing their talents, we condemn this kind of behavior. Sexual harassment is not ok. And should NEVER be okay. Doing nothing about it is also NOT okay,” IDNS bared.
“Regardless of gender and age, any sexual harassment is not okay. This behavior should not be tolerated. Doesn’t matter what kind of upbringing one has, it is never an excuse,” the organization continued.
“Anyone and everyone should be safe while having fun gaming in esports”
Omega Esports and MPL Philippines have yet to release a statement as of posting time.
