For the first time in almost a decade, Luke Mejares and Duncan Ramos were on the same stage with the rest of Orignal Pilipino Music royalty South Border.
And it happened during the pre-show of the 2021 Chooks-to-Go MPBL Invitational powered by TM Final.
It was an hour-long event that the band will never forget according to Jay Durias.
“Sobrang memorable nito kasi first time namin nagsama-sama, hindi lang ngayong pandemic kung hindi sobrang tagal na,” he said.
Opening their act was their 2004 hit “The Show”.
South Border followed it up with their classics “Rainbow” and “Ikaw Nga”.
In a surprise, the band also paid tribute to fellow legendary band Eraserheads, doing a medley of their hits.
Of course, the band closed the show with their hit from 1996 Kahit Kailan.
