Shaina Nitura remains with Adamson

The blessings just keep coming for Adamson University.

Just days after powering the Baby Falcons to their first-ever UAAP Girls’ Volleyball title, Shaina Nitura has made a promise to the school: She is staying at Adamson.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Akari and the Adamson community for supporting our Season 86 championship title,” the 19-year-old spiker from Cainta, Rizal, said.

“And for my next journey, I am happy to say that I will commit to Adamson and Akari.”

During her first year in senior high, the 5-foot-9 outside spiker led the Baby Falcons to a second-place finish while being named the best student-athlete in her position.

This season was all about redemption.

Nitura not only won the season and finals MVP but also led Adamson to a 14-game sweep of the tournament.

Now, Adamson awaits the decisions of Best Setter Felicity Sagasay and middle blocker Angie Del Moral.
