Ribo to remain with BREN for MPL-PH 7

After becoming the most successful Mobile Legends player in history, BREN Esports’ Cj “Ribo” Ribo is not ready to hang his gaming phone just yet.

The 24-year-old sidelaner has confirmed that he will be suiting up for BREN Esports in the upcoming MPL-Philippines Season 7.

“Ipagpapatuloy ko pa, ‘di pa naman mabagal yung reflexes ng kamay ko e,” shared Ribo to the Patch Notes.

“Sayang kasi e, nandito na yung opportunity e ang daming gustong makuha yung mga nakuha ko. So ipagpapatuloy ko pa rin.”

The MPL-Philippines Season Seven Open Qualifiers made history by recording a total of 3,040 teams. Only two teams will be able to join the eight invited teams in the main draw.

Just recently, Ribo also etched his name in the history books after becoming the winningest Mobile Legends in the professional scene.

He is the only player to win an MPL championship, Southeast Asian Games gold medal, MSC title, and the world series.

Ribo and BREN Esports also became the first Filipino squad to hoist the world title after beating MPL-Myanmar champion Burmese Ghouls, 4-3, in the M2 World Championship grand finals.

The pride of Imus, Cavite now has a total of six international titles, two MPL trophies, and two from The Nationals. He is also the only player in league history to play all five positions.

The MPL-Philippines Season Seven will open its doors this February.
