It’s official!
Federated Distributors Inc. (FDI) is delighted to announce it has accepted an invitation to play in the Shakey’s V-League this coming May 2016.
Bannered by Team Captain Michele Gumabao, and supported by other outstanding volleyball superstars such as Melissa Gohing, Myla Pablo, and Elaine Kasilag, FDI’s volleyball club team is sure to be a strong competitor in the SVL.
Competing as the Philips Gold Lady Slammers of the PSL, FDI’s volleyball club team may possibly be rechristened with a new moniker to celebrate its entry into the SVL.
“We are pleased that our volleyball club has been given the opportunity to compete in the Philippines’ oldest and most prestigious volleyball competition,” Philips Gold Lady Slammers team manager Eric Ty said. “We are looking forward to testing our mettle against the country’s best volleyball teams in the SVL.”
“We’d like to thank the PSL for a memorable two year run, but this invitation to the SVL is just something we cannot pass up.”
Aside from Philips Gold, FDI is also the exclusive distributor of other fine brands such as Maling B2, Libby’s, Palm, Evian, Mamy Poko, Mane ‘n Tail, and Pocari Sweat.
