OhMyV33NUS offers words of encouragement for down H2wo

Blacklist International captain Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna offered some words of encouragement to former teammate John Paul “H2wo” Salonga amid the social media backlash that he is facing, Friday.

H2wo, who struggled all throughout the first round, has been the talk of the town for the past week due to an issue that started with RSG PH’s meme following its 2-0 win against Nexplay EVOS last August 28.

As someone who has experienced the same thing in the past, OhMyV33NUS, who played with H2wo during their amateur days, made sure to lift him up right after Blacklist International’s 2-0 win over Nexplay EVOS

“Actually nakikita ko nga yun and na-experience ko na rin naman yun personally and actually until now meron pa rin,” said OhMyV33NUS. “Siguro for H2, pakatatag ka lang. Alam ko naman na ito yung pangarap mo which is mag-laro sa MPL kaya pagpatuloy mo lang ‘yan.

“Dati kong teammate si H2 and naniniwala ako na kaya niya,” she added.

H2wo, along with starters James “Jeymz” Gloria, Mico “Micophobia” Quitlong, Jeniel “YellyHaze” Bata-anon, were benched against the reigning world champions. They absorbed their sixth consecutive loss to fall to 2-6.

OhMyV33NUS, who immediately approached Nexplay EVOS after the game along with the rest of Blacklist International, said that the series, unlike what other people saw, was actually really competitive, especially in Game Two.

Setsuna “Dogie” Ignacio, Ken “Kzen” Pile, and Lance “LanceCy” Cunanan all made their debuts for Nexplay EVOS in the series.

“Nag-good game (sila) kasi grabe rin yung pinakita nila kahit na first time nung lineup na yun especially nung Game Two napalaban kami,” she said.

“Nakita natin kung gaano ka-close match yun and siguro parang sa sobrang excitement and adrenaline.”
