Kelra goes ham vs Omega as Execration’s unorthodox game sets up showdown with Bren

Execration’s utilization of the broken Faramis-Bane combo in Game One set the tone for its thrilling 3-2 victory over Smart Omega Esports in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines Season Seven lower bracket playoffs, Friday night.

With the victory, Execration secured a top four finish and set up a date with its good friend Bren Esports for a slot in the lower bracket finale.

Execration shocked the Mobile Legends community in the opener, unleashing the broken duo of Faramis and Bane which went to the hands of Duane “Kelra” Pillas and Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog, respectively.

The Jomie “P4kbet” Abalos-coached squad complemented the duo with Patrick “E2MAX” Caidic’s Selena and incorporated them with multiple Arrival spells to initiate the plan.

Both Kelra and Ch4knu wiped out the top lane turrets of Omega en route to the win, taking advantage of Selena’s Abyssal Traps to close in on Omega’s base.

Kelra, despite suffering 17, deaths, was named the SMART MVP while Ch4knu ended up with a kill, 15 deaths, and an assist.
