Kelra accepts Omega, MPL sanctions, apologizes to Ramella, V33Wise

Omega Esports’ Duane “Kelra” Pillas is looking to turn over a new leaf, days after finding himself in the middle of a controversy that shook the Mobile Legends scene.

In another statement posted through his official Facebook page, the 16-year-old rising star apologized once again to the parties involved.

The 2021 MSC Most Valuable Player was heard spewing distasteful remarks towards Blacklist International stars Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna and Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario.

Kelra also uttered sexist remarks towards Chaneery “Ramellaba” Ramella of IDNS Esports and the female members of Bigetron Alpha.

The Omega Esports gold laner was heard saying such in a livestream hosted by RRQ Hoshi’s Albert “Alberttt” Iskandar.

And I would also like to give my sincerest apologies to Ramellabah sa IDONOTSLEEP ESPORTS and sa Bigetron Alpha,” he continued.

Kelra also accepted the punishments handed to him both by the league and his mother club.

The MPL Philippines handed the incoming sophomore a two-week ban along with an undisclosed amount of fine.

Meanwhile, Omega Esports fined Kelra a month worth of salary while also requiring him to undergo a series of seminars for his conduct.

“I deeply apologize for my behavior and the problems that I caused. I was unprofessional. I am sorry and I want to be a better person. I will be more respectful towards others,” Kelra expressed.

Kelra will to miss at least five games for the Smart-backed squad — who recently acquired the Execration core for the league’s eighth installment.
