Justin Tan coached two teams from different leagues on Sunday.
To start off his day, Tan was at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center in San Fernando, Pampanga to coach Glutagence in the Women’s National Basketball League-Pilipinas.
Right after the game, he made the hour drive to go to Subic Bay Gymnasium as he was also the head coach of 7A Primus.
Tan went 1-1 for the day, though. The Glow Boosters lost to the Taguig Lady Generals, 68-51, while 7A Primus defeated the Muntinlupa Defenders, 84-74.
Glutagence and 7A Primus are under one umbrella.
Pro league WNBL-Pilipinas follows a closed-circuit format wherein participants can go home but have to undergo testing before entering the game venue. Players and team officials are also tested days prior to competition by their respective teams.
On the other hand, amateur league Filbasket follows a full bubble setup of hotel-venue-hotel.
Filbasket assured that Tan, who is fully vaccinated, tested negative in his test before entering the gym.
