Desiderio vehemently denies Uvero’s allegations

A day after ex-partner Agatha Uvero raised accusations of domestic violence against Paul Desiderio, the under-fire Blackwater broke his silence.

In a social media post, the 25-year-old native of Liloan, Cebu said that the allegations put against him are unfound and untrue.

“Her social media allegation is unfortunate and sad, and most of all, untrue,” read Desiderio’s post. “I had hoped that we will be civil with each after our separation, for the sake of our son.

“I vehemently deny her allegations of abuse during our relationship. I have had relationships prior to Ms. Uvero, and I also have a daughter from a previous relationship. I have never hurt a woman, especially not the mother of my child.”

Early Wednesday morning, Uvero posted a graphic detail of the experiences she had with Desiderio.

Uvero bared that Desiderio strangled her, gripped her face, grabbed her hands to punch herself, threw her to walls, a bed, and walls, tried to bite her, and even kicked her body on separate occasions.

The two officially became a couple in November of 2017 and were engaged two years later.

Uvero and Desiderio, who have a son together, separated in May 2022.

Desiderio said that he is ready to face any charges against him if it leads to a case.

“I will also face any complaint against me in any forum, especially in relation to domestic abuse accusations.

“I also reserve the right to seek redress for these defamations against my name and person. I have worked hard for the little that I have achieved in my life, and I have always done it with dedication and honor. I will fight for the honor of my and my family’s name and reputation because that is all we have,” said the University of the Philippines product.

Desiderio said that he will also cooperate with the PBA’s inquiry regarding the matter.

“I apologize to all those who have been affected as a result of this issue, to my family, to my friends, to my team, Blackwater, and to my daughter and son.”
