Converge and Blackwater have completed a trade as they gear up for the 2025 PBA Philippine Cup.
The Bossing sent Rey Suerte to the FiberXers in exchange for BJ Andrade on Monday, multiple sources confirmed to Tiebreaker Times.
Suerte, who was selected by the Ever Bilena-owned franchise in the special Gilas draft in 2019, has been with Blackwater for the past five years.
The 6-foot-3 wingman appeared in 10 games last conference, averaging 4.8 points and 1.9 rebounds.
Now, he joins Converge, where he will reunite with former Gilas pool members Jordan Heading and Justine Baltazar.
Meanwhile, Andrade, the 10th overall pick in the 2023 PBA Rookie Draft, heads to Blackwater.
The 6-foot-1 Ateneo product played 11 games last conference, averaging 3.45 points in nine minutes per contest.
