Behave steers Todak to third MPL Malaysia title

Filipino supremacy continues to make waves in Southeast Asia.

Following successful campaigns in Indonesia and Cambodia, Coach Behave, a Filipino tactician, gained international fame after leading Todak to their third franchise title in MPL Malaysia Season 11.

Behave was joined by former Bren Esports stalwart, Mujahid Usman “Malik” Malik, Patrick Lawrence “Lawtrick” G. Ciego, and Karl Rouvic “Karl” P. Devosora in Todak’s championship roster for Season 11.

He is the newest addition to the list of overseas Filipino champions, after Denver “Yeb” Miranda and Mitch “zMitch” Sato took the championship in MPL Indonesia and Cambodia, respectively, in April of this year.

Behave, Yeb, and zMitch will represent their respective regions in the MLBB Southeast Asian Cup in June 2023, where they will face two representative teams from the Philippines.

Behave’s success marked the successful campaign of Filipino coaches in Malaysia, as Filipino coaches Paolo “Pao” Villanueva and Steve “Dale” Vitug also finished in the top four of MPL MY Season 11 with Team Lunatix and Home Bois, respectively.
