MSC: OhMyV33NUS steers Blacklist to top of Group D

Blacklist International romped reigning MPL Malaysia champion Todak, 2-1, to clinch the top seed in Group D of the 2023 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup, Tuesday at the Aeon Mall Mean Chey in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

The Tier One-backed squad dominated Game 1 behind the brilliance of Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna (Diggie), who tallied a game-high 12 assists in the 15-2 triumph in just 11 minutes of action.

Howard “Owl” Gonzales delivered eight kills and two assists on Beatrix while Kenneth “Yue” Tadeo’s Novaria had three kills and eight assists.

Blacklist International had the chance to sweep the series in Game 2 but was caught off guard by a segue play by Todak gold laner Muhammad “CikuGais” Fuad (Claude).

After a siege, Blacklist International tried to engage Todak down the bottom lane but Ciku was able to sneak his way into the opposing side’s base to steal the game.

Ciku struggled all game long, finishing with a kill and three deaths but still managed to deliver the biggest play of the game.

Blacklist International then dominated Game 3 to finish off the Malaysians.

Yue had six kills and eight assists on Yve while OhMyV33NUS added two kills and 11 assists on Minotaur in the 17-11 Game 3 victory in 11 minutes.

The MSC playoffs will begin on June 15, Thursday.
