After playing limited minutes in Athletes Unlimited Volleyball Week 2, Kalei Mau was a woman on a mission to start Week 3.
This as her Team Sheilla dismantled Team De la Cruz, 72-61 (22-25, 25-18, 25-18), to open the week, Thursday at the Fair Park Coliseum in Dallas, Texas.
Mau delivered 10 kills, one block, 15 excellent receptions, and eight digs for 229 points, her highest output of the season.
With her best display yet, the Fil-Hawaiian improved three places up to 34th with 828 total points.
Sheilla Castro was the top gainer for her team with 310 points on 16 attacks, six digs, and a block to maintain her position at fourth.
Setter Nootsara Tomkom came in second with 276 points on 35 excellent sets and 13 digs to go with a point.
Taylor Morgan gained the most for Team De la Cruz with 164 points while Bethania only had 96 but still lead the league by a far with 1875 points, 112 more than Dani Drews.
Mau and her squad will be back in action on Saturday, 7 am (Manila time) against Team Lowe.
