Kalei Mau rose to rank 26 heading into the final day of Athletes Unlimited Volleyball Season 2.
The Fil-Hawaiian and Team De La Cruz made swift work of Team Valentin-Anderson, 75-61 (25-19, 25-23, 25-19), Saturday at the Fair Parks Coliseum in Dallas, Texas.
Mau collected 215 points – 180 off win points – while 45 came off stat points with four kills, a block, and three excellent digs.
Now at 26th, the 6-foot-2 open spiker has amassed 1856 points after 14 outings.
Betty De la Cruz reset her own record for most points in a game with 477 after a spectacular performance of 17 attacks, three service aces, 17 digs, and eight excellent receptions.
She is far and away top seed with 4193 points, 1003 more than Natalia Valentin-Anderson at number two.
Aury Cruz made 352 points while Nootsara Tomkom got 310 points in the victory.
Valentin-Anderson led her squad with 123 points built on 29 excellent sets, 14 digs, and two blocks.
Mau will cap her first season in AUV tomorrow at 10 am (Manila time) against Team Drews.
