Kalei Mau had a forgettable start in Athletes Unlimited Volleyball Week 4.
Mau even lost points in Team Sheilla’s 60-75 (22-25, 16-25, 22-25) blowout defeat to Team De la Cruz, Thursday at the Fair Park Coliseum in Dallas, Texas.
The 6-foot-2 Fil-Hawaiian dropped to rank 34 after having a minus-10 performance with just a single kill while committing an attacking error and a reception error in limited minutes off the bench.
Betty De la Cruz beasted her squad with 445 points on 15 attacks, four service aces, and 12 digs to earn MVP-1 honors and regain the top seed with 2734 points.
Cassidy Lichtman also had herself a game with 356 points built on seven kills, three blocks, an ace, and 11 digs. She was also voted MVP-2 to improve to fourth spot with 2191 points.
Lindsay Stalzer was the lone player from Team Sheilla in triple digits with 161 points on 14 spikes, a block, 20 excellent receptions, and nine digs.
Mau will look to atone for her woeful performance on Saturday in Team Sheilla’s game against Team Drews at 10 am (Manila time).
