Kalei Mau will enter the Athletes Unlimited Volleyball Season 2 Week 3 as the 37th-ranked player.
This as her Team Stivrins fell short against Team Valentin-Anderson, 70-73 (22-25, 23-25, 25-23), to cap Week 2 at the Fair Park Coliseum in Dallas, Texas.
The Fil-Hawaiian, who previously suited up for F2 Logistics, Changos de Naranjito, Volley-Ball Nantes, and Indias de Mayagüez, played limited minutes as a backup to Leah Edmond to gain just 39 points in the match.
Mau finished scoreless and got just a dig and a single excellent reception to slide five places down to 37. She has collected 599 total points after six outings.
Karsta Lowe led Team Valentin-Anderson with 15 kills, a service ace, and a block. She also got the MVP-2 nod for 338 points, making her a captain once more in Week 3.
Lowe was a captain in Week 1 before being replaced this week.
Edmond, despite playing in the losing cause, made MVP-1 after a dazzling display of 19 kills, an ace, and a block. She also got 13 excellent receptions to end as the 8th-ranked player.
Week 3 starts on Thursday as Bethania De la Cruz and Dani Drews maintained their captainship while Sheilla Castro made her debut as a captain.
